Stations Already on Swindon DAB

Swindon DAB launched in 2024, based out of Swindon 105.5.

Swindon 105.5 has been broadcasting since 2008 and has been a focal point of the community from the very beginning.

Swindon DAB has been live since March 2024, with two transmitters: one located in the heart of Swindon at Brunel Tower, and another at the Marlborough Community Centre just off the A346.

Our service is supported by Muxnet UK, who provide expert assistance to organisations interested in securing space on our platform.

C-DSP

A community digital radio licence. You'll need to be based within our coverage area, and (like an analogue community radio licence) make specific commitments to serve and involve a distinct community within our coverage area. If you will be playing music, you'll qualify for a Joint Music licence from PRS and PPL. find out more on the Ofcom website.

DSP

A commercial digital radio licence. You can apply for this licence to broadcast on any digital radio multiplex in the UK. If you'll be playing music, you'll also need licences from PRS/MCPS Music Alliance and PPL. Find out more on the Ofcom website.

We can support interested parties through licence applications, getting set up technically and use a portion of the fee on marketing to advertise your service across our catchment area.
